Turn up before 8.00. We wont be late in starting as its unfair on those who do turn up at the right time,

First we will get you warmed up. Moving through your body from your head down to your feet. This should give your joints and muscles a warning of the exercise to come.

We will then divide you into two groups beginners and improvers.

Beginners   --  will learn the basic footwork and simple turns, along with lots of information about what Cuban Salsa is about.

Improvers  --  will concentrate on getting the Cuban movement in your dancing (getting the bugs out). This will involve a simple routine that can easily be remembered so you can concentrate on the styling and not having to remembering a long complex movement.

The salsa classes will last an hour, and you will be rotated to give you a chance to dance with everyone. If you wish to stay with your partner that is not a problem however you will find big advantages if you rotate partners.

Some nights at the of the class we will play a track and do a very simple line up for you to follow which will contain lots of the moves from the classes and more. Don't worry if you cant keep up with it all you are not expected to but you have just got to try.

After the line up, about 9.20pm, we will start playing some great Cuban music. Putting on some slow tracks to give you a chance to practice what you have learnt and to have a dance to.

It is very customary to ask people to dance whether Guy or Girl so don't just stand there, if you are a complete beginner say so, you have got to start somewhere. You can also be sure that anyone who's been dancing awhile will love to help a beginner out.

Don't worry about getting up and dancing or practicing the better dancers will think all the more of you for it.

During the evening we will put on a few tracks of different types of Cuban Music to show you what else there is out there.

The music will go on until  11.00pm and the bar will be open for drinks.
