DJ Rich when providing the music,
aka Richard Fallon when teaching,
aka Richard or Rich when dancing !
Most important question, it's rum, bottled Coke with no ice.
Trade marks, hat and wish I could get away with wearing shirts like that.
Styles, Richard can turn on the Cuban as well as anyone but if you have just had your hair done and the music is fast and flowing it is just possible that it might need a quick brush through after your dance. He can also be seen going around in circles very neatly in Rueda's.
Richard I believe is also at home with the NY on two side of things, but that is another story of which I know complete nothing.
Coming from South London Richard runs a couple of very Cuban nights in the Capital. Cuban clubs . As he has the centre of the UK's Salsa world on his door step he brings in the best teachers and dancers going, such as Rafael.
DJ Rich is to be found Dj'ing and Mc'ing at many weekenders around the country. Also at some big as well as the smaller club nights in London.
Quote of the week !
"we are completely dedicated to the funky, polyrhythmic popular dance music of contemporary Cuba -
Timba and Salsa Cubana."
Richard with both his teaching hat and his Dj'ing tunes regularly comes to Norwich to bring a breath of fresh Cuban air to this far out post of Cuban Salsa.
DJ Rich, like most top Cuban DJ's keeps on top of the latest tunes. To such an extent that sometimes he has stuff so early that even the Artist doesn't know he's even written it ! Rich is also not afraid to spread the word and his play lists can be found on his web site. Now that's something worth looking at as its free, shared and has taken Rich a lot of effort to put together and keep on top of.
