Observation and comment

All of a sudden so much is happening in the Cuban World around Norfolk.

    Norwich and the surrounding areas have had a along history of being remote from the best dancers and teachers found in London. Now these Stars are now being brought to our door. This is something that should be embraced by everyone not fought over for money, venues and dates. It can only enhance the dancing in the area and give the Salsa scene a new burst of life as well as bringing with it a better understanding of Dance, Music and most importantly it’s Roots.

So to the two guys, Nad and John, that have been doing it for years as well as the new kids on the block.        Thank you

We at Dance Cuban will continue doing what we love and will support anyone so long as they are doing it with a passion.

Cuban Night at the Keir Hardy Hall Norwich

Cuban ritmo at the Keir

Thank you John for keeping the Cuban going in Norwich and bringing DJ Rich to the distant lands of Norfolk. It must have taken him weeks to get here. As for DJ Rich, how could I walk out of the door at the end of the night with the sound of El Carretera. What a most beatiful way of ending the night. Thank you. Inspired !

Salsa at the Keir in Norwich

Another great Friday night at the keir Hardy Hall in Norwich. With Sue’s music and John’s energy it was a another Cuban fiesta with a touch of other stuff thrown in for good measure.

Ritmo in Norwich ( DJ Rich, David and Max )

Look out for 100% Cuban night on 19th Sept, again at the Keir. This time specially imported from Brixton, London, DJ Rich. With his so up to date collection of tunes that the artists don’t even know they have written them yet !. Very big credit to John’O for keeping the Cuban Music going in Norwich.

Don’t forget our 110% Cuban salsa classes and club night on a Thur at Sutton Staithe Hotel near Stalham, Norwich. Lot’s of Cuban Styling from Sharon and lots of great Cuban music from me.
