The most well know name in Salsa Music.
There tracks are standards that others are judged by. Having seen them three time once in Havana, London and Munich. Only once we were let down, in Munich 2008 the band lacked energy and gave the feeling they didn’t want to be there. Afterwards we found out they had just come from another concert the hour before. The concert in London 2007 there were on fire and the magic of the opening Chapeando track set the feeling for the whole concert. If there is one place you need to see Los Van Van its in Havana 2006 with a Bottle of Rum and 4 tins of Coke. Its just one of those things that on the list ” before I die “.
