What do you think about the class Structure ??
Hi - we need your feedback.
Cuban Salsa Classes at Sutton Staithe Hotel every Thursday.
We are very happy with the support that the classes are getting but feel that there is maybe room for improvement. So please take a look at the suggestion below and let us know what you think or if you have any other ideas. Or tell us if you like things the way they are.
The changes are to help keep beginners classes very basic so they don’t hold back others who are improving. Also to give a higher level to Sharon’s class. Plus if footwork or timing is an issue in the top class people have a place to go to get some revision.

I always come away from class having learnt something, plus the night is Great fun and the people are really friendly.
Richard and Sharon are lovely people and very welcoming so new people will find it easy to intergrate.
Thursday nights at the Staithe in Stalham is a must for beginners and improvers alike.
Love the classes.
The new format sounds like a great idea. It will give us a mix of concentrating on getting the steps and the styling right and then putting it into action – trying to keep it all going throughout a piece of music!
Sounds good to me. As far as I am concerned, intermediate for me has been getting a bit boring. The reason for this is that I feel I want to move on faster with my learning and to be challenged, but I don’t think that can happen with the current influx of beginners, so your idea is brilliant. I don’t mind coming along at 8pm to help with the beginners or to take a man’s part.
Keep up the great work!
Regards
Jane
I think spliting the classes up is a necessity as room was getting really short. It was a struggle to move without banging into other people. Good move Sharon!
Hi Sharon,
Anni and I are really happy with tuition so far, but I can see that your new idea will allow the keener regular dancers to progress much quicker ………. we`re looking forward to having hips that move like a roller coaster.

Would love to come to find out how to use Orishas and Rumba in my Salsa, but I’m away. Next one I will be there.

Richard & Sharon,
We think it’s fine, we’ll go along with anything, as long as we’re dancing. The beginners need your undivided attention to get them into the steps and rythmn of the music. It’s not easy for the first couple of nights and to keep their enthusiasm, they need thorough guidance (We remember it well !)
We hope that on Rueda nights, more singles will bring a partner, so the girls don’t have to stand out such a long time and miss the dancing together with their (or another partner).
See you tomorrow evening.

the timing is all wrong for me at the moment. I have from 8 till 9 while my daughter is at scouts. I won’t stop coming but i will only get half of the improvers group.
sue.
hi you guys!
I think its a really good idea, it will help keep everyone moving forward but will allow anyone new to salsa to have the one to one they will need to build their confidence up.
Its the best thing we have ever done coming to your classes so i hope anyone reading this will come along and give it a go.
You can have two left feet and learn, Steve wouldnt ever dance with me before, now i cant get him to sit down.
Splitting the classes up into groups where noone feels out of their league, or is held back, is a good move, it should help keep everyone happy..
It shows everyone how good you two are.. you really have thought of everyone here..
Well done!
Love Joanne xxx
