Cuban Salsa Class 22nd Jan

One of the best attended classes to date gave the night a lovely feel. The beginners were on a roll and covered so much that they will be totally ready for the Rueda on the 5th Feb. ( first Thursday of  the month so it’s Rueda night.)

What everyone must remember that to dance Cuban Salsa with ease takes time and the enjoyment comes from the learning and the eventual achievement and getting a certain move sorted. So there will be flat spots in your learning curve but don’t worry they will pass. If you feel really stuck just ask and we will go through it until it works. So please ask us.

Take care and see you next Thursday at Sutton Staithe Hotel Norwich Norfolk UK

Hi,

Thursday’s Class, if you missed it, sorry you couldnt make it and to those who came thank you for a great night. I just hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. More next week!

Beginners, Sharon was really impressed with how far you had come, for some of you in just a matter of 30 mins. Cuban Salsa is not the quickest dance to master and will take a while but be patient and with practice you will improve each week. Please ask other people and us to dance or just to practice your steps with. That’s what everyone is there for to learn and to enjoy Cuban Salsa.

Firstly, may your 2009 be full of happiness and dance.

We all need something in our lives and learning to salsa is certainly a recipe for healthy living, both of the body and the mind.

For me, and I know Sharon, meeting and making new friends has been such a unexpected bonus from running our classes that it’s becoming an important factor and reason to keep them going. We started our classes at Sutton Staithe because the atmosphere we hoped would be far less sterile than a village hall. I must admit Sharon was 100% right in the choice of venue. I hope you have enjoyed the workshops drumming, Styling and Parties in 2008. We wanted to try to give you a taste of the world that has taken over our lives and that we have grown to love. We will make sure that that this will continue through 2009 ( Starting with Jose and his very Cuban band on March 21st)

I started my adventure in leaning to dance with Sharon 6 years ago and I look back with amusement in wondering what I would think of myself now. To be found passionately talking to someone in the middle of Tesco’s about dance, Cuban Salsa and dancing trainers would have been a little unexpected ! !

Thank you for your support and looking forward to 2009.

Richard and Sharon
