Jose y Guateque

21st march 2009 at Sutton Staithe hotel a night of live Afro Cuban Music with Jose and his band Guateque. The translation of Guateque is party in country side. Which is just what we all got, a Cuban Party with the feeling of that magic Cuban sound and culture.

Here come the girls

The show started with the Afro side of the Afro-Cuban sound with the three bata drums.

The supply of mint and limes for the Mojitos just about dryed up at the end of the night.

At times both dance floors were completly full. With , Salsa, Orishas, Rumba, Reggaeton, Son, Batchata, Merrenge and Rueda’s from Anglia Salsa Rueda

The venue look perfect and very one had a great view of the stage. With over 80 people watching the night ended to soon.
